    Considered Calculations
    Players: 2

Number of Cards: Number cards from 1-12 (x4) / no Jokers.

    Educational Value:
Explores arithmetical functions and consolidates understanding of figures.

Goal: Recognize how numbers can be used to make calculations.

Preparation: The cards are shuffled, then split into two equal piles and placed face-down in the center of the table.

How to Play: A player draws one card from each pile (e.g. 5 and 9). He then considers what calculations can be done with those numbers (5 + 9, 9 + 5, 5 x 9, 9 x 5 etc.) and works out their results.

Variation: Use three or more piles.

Variation: Use only addition and subtraction or multiplication and division signs.
